“Kasturi Foundry Pvt Ltd” .On 21^st Sept,2024.

                                                                                The foundry employs strict quality control measures at various stages. The foundry management emphasized the importance of safety during casting operation. The foundry demonstrated several modern advancement such as use of CAD and simulation tools for creating precise mould designs. The Automation in moulding and handling systems, which reduces human error and increases efficiency.

“33/11 KV Vadgaon Substation” .On 24 Sept, 2024

                                                                                An industrial visit to “33/11 KV Vadgaon Substation” was organised by the Electrical Engineering Department on Tuesday, 24 Sept, 2024.  The visit provided valuable insights into the functioning of a high voltage substation which is helpful upgrading the practical knowledge of students by understanding the operation layout and components of the electrical substation as well as maintenance and safety protocols followed in substation.

“MSEDCL Regional Training Center, Sangli” .On 30^th Sept,2024

                                      During visit the different training modules observed like-practical demonstration on handling distribution transformers, isolators, circuit breakers and different power system equipments .As well as they explained about  fault detection and preventive maintenance, also focused training on emergency response and first aid in case of accidents.

Industrial Visit @ SUZLON Energy Limted

Electrical Engineering Department had organized industrial visit at SUZLON energy limited , Satara on Saturday, 19th November 2022.Suzlon is India’s leading renewable energy solutions provider offering a 360-degree total solutions package to its customers that covers the entire spectrum of wind energy projects.From this visit student should understand working principle of Wind power plant.Also they are getting idea of designining of 1.5 MW simulator model.

Industrial Visit @ Radhanagari Dam

Electrical Engineering Department had organized industrial visit at Radhanagari dam on Monday, 7th November 2022.The dam is being used for irrigation as well as hydro-electricity.From this visit student should understand working of Hydro Power plant and Alternator. Also they will get ideas about generation capacity of hydro power plant.
