                                                   Kolhapur, Date 27 August 2024: As part of our academic curriculum, the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering organized an industrial visit to ELCOM International Pvt. Ltd., located in Five Star MIDC, Kagal, Kolhapur. This visit, arranged by the ENTC department at Ashokrao Mane Polytechnic, Vathar Tarf, Vadgaon Kolhapur, was for second and third-year students (EJ). It included an overview of switch production, the assembly section, and the production and testing of extension boards using a PDU controller. The impact of this visit on the students was significant, as it provided them with practical and theoretical insights into various switches, extension boards, and the assembly process. Students gained valuable knowledge about the applications and uses of switches.

Industry Visit at Menon and Menon Ltd.2024-25

                                    Kolhapur, Date 31 Jan 2024: As a part of our Academic Curriculum , the department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering has arranged industrial visit to “ Menon and Menon Ltd.", Kolhapur. That industrial visit arranged by EnTC department in Ashokrao mane polytechnic vathar tarf , Vadgaon Kolhapur for Second year and Third year student (EJ) . It covers production of automotive grey iron casting, PLC programmable machine as well as use of robotics machinery for iron casting etc. The impact of this activity on students they are able to understand the theroretical and practical knowledge of Automation, PLC , Robotics in core industry. 

Industry Visit at ISRO 2023-2024

                                             Department of Electronic and tele communication has organized industrial visit at U R RAO SATELLITE CENTER BANGALURU (ISRO) on 9th october 2023. Students were introduced to different types of rockets & satellites developed till now at ISROand purpose by Mr. Srinivasa Sir. Then we were informed about different centers of ISRO all over India & their purpose.The cost of a launch may be about Rupees 4 to 5 crores. To make this visit fruitful Prof. Yuvraj R. Gurav (Principal, AMP) & Mrs. Sana F. Amin (HOD E & TC Engineering Department, AMP) have taken special efforts. Mr. Srinivasa Sir explained the various features of the rockets.Two types of satellites were described: Indian Remote Sensing Satellites and Communication Satellites.Next, we witnessed a “clean room” where satellite is assembled. A satellite in space faces extremes of temperature such as -120 degrees to +120 degrees Celsius.There was a video session which presented ISAC activities. Mr. Srinivasa Sir took up answering many questions from students regarding ISRO, ISRO activities and space mission related topics.

That industrial visit arranged by EnTC department in Ashokrao mane polytechnic vathar tarf , Vadgaon Kolhapur for Second year and Third year student (EJ) .
