We department of computer engineering going to celebrate engineers day in remembrance of Dr. Mokshagundam Visvesvaray. On this occasion department of computer engineering has organized state level technical event “Techno Fest 2K24” on 14^th September 2024.

One week FDP on "Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning"

The main idea behind Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) across the world is “upskill”.Younger faculty who have graduated more recently may be better skilled, the experienced ones are the backbone of the teaching-learning environment.FDP prepares faculty members for contemporary teaching methodologies. It includes workshops, seminars, conferences, and so on to enhance the intellectual and academic environment in institutions. Faculty development program also offers opportunities for advanced research to get hold of recent trends & developments in the particular field of study.One week FDP on "Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning" was arranged at "Ashokrao Mane Polytechnic" for stafff members of various Institutes .

Engineer’s Day Celebration  

Engineers' Day in India is celebrated on September 15th to honor the contributions of engineers. It coincides with the birth anniversary of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, a renowned engineer in India. 

On 15th sept 2023 Department of Computer Engineering has celebrated Engineers Day with various events. Hon Principal Prof. Y.R.Gurav was the Chief guest for the Function. He enlighted students with his valuable thoughts. The function was conducted under the guidance of Head of the Department Mr. S.A.Lakde. 

Expert Lecture on - Emerging Trends in IT

We department of computer engineering with association with COMPESA arranged expert lecture on 2nd September 2023 at 11.00 am onwards.

Lecture topic was “Current Technologies in Industry” and expert Mr. Kartikeya Tiwari was the expert for the session.

Guest Lecture on-“Personality Development by Art of Living”

Expert Lecture on - Hands on Linux System

According to the curriculum of MSBTE, Ashokrao Mane Polytechnic the Department of Computer Engineering in association with COMPESA organized one day workshop on “Hands on Linux Operating system” dated 17/11/2022 from 11.00 a.m. to onwards. This workshop was organized under MOU with BITS Techo Development Pvt.Ltd. kolhapur.

Engineer’s Day Celebration  

Engineers' Day is celebrated in India on September 15 in honour of this true essence of engineering and the birth anniversary of India's pioneer engineer-administrator Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. He was the Diwan of Mysore, as well as a great scholar and statesman. A highly disciplined engineer, he was known for his sincerity, time management, hard work, and devotion. He was a civil engineer and his work involved everything from building roadways, to dams and anti-flood systems. He never stopped learning and was sent to different countries across the globe where he studied various engineering practices. He was also awarded the Bharat Ratna for his special skills.

On 5th sept 2022 Department of Computer Engineering has celebrated Teachers Day with various events. Hon Proncipal Prof. Y.R.Gurav was the Chief guest for the Function. He enlighted students with his valuable thoughts. The function was conducted under the guidance of Head of the Department Mr. S.A.Lakade.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav- 75 years of Independance

The Government of India decided to celebrate the 75 years of Independence of India, with great excitement and tribute to people instrumental in bringing India thus far in its journey and the potential to activate India 2.0, powered by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.' 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' means 'Elixir of energy of independence It is the initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence from British Raj and the glorious history of India's people, culture and achievements. The commemoration is to be celebrated through a series of events to be organized by the Government of India. We Ashokrao Mane Polytechnic has organised Har Ghar Tiranga, Two Wheeler Rally, Walking Rally for the promotion of Har Ghar Tiranga. Also we have Sung or National Anthem at 11 am.
